here am I

Most of the time when I go out with people I spend the whole night anxious and dying to get back home and tonight I thought I’d be better but I’m not and the only solace is that this cat who isn’t even mine is rubbing his head against my arm as if he’s just so glad I exist and it’s nice. it’s really fucken nice. no matter how quiet I get. no matter how many people simply forget I’m even there. I exist. someone will understand that. I understand that.
